Subwoofer doesn't work as expected

Hello.

I can't understand what happens to my subwoofer. When I run an audiotest, it works fine. But when I hear music or watch videos from Internet, it doesn't work. I don't understand.

I use Banshee to hear music, and I'm running Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon.

Thanks in advance.
