Stuck on Intel GMA 900 Graphic

I have been having a bad time trying to get this to work properly in SuSE 9.2.
It's on a Toshiba laptop M45 which uses these newest graphics.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 w/64MB-128MB shared video memory.

I have tried Yast of course and then Sax2 and am unable to use anything, but framebuffer graphics at an ugly 800x600. My monitor should be 1280x800 on this 15.4 inch. The LCD selections will not work either. I have tried first the Intel drivers here: intel
I installed after init 3 and got error that I need the latest kernel modules to be installed. AGP GART and DRM support are included with the driver package.
I recompiled the kernel for all these first as part of kernel and then as modules. I have selected all the various Intel graphic chips here and they now show up in Yast. Supposidly iit should use i810. I have tried all the Intel drivers in Sax and have tried to manually enter them in xorg.conf. but then "no screens found always" There is no selection as of yet for the GMA 900 so I can only figure it is too new and has something that the other i810 chip famliy do not.

Right now I would settle just for 1280x800 resolution. I have tried manually entering mode lines in xorg.conf. What does it mean when the Intel driver software complains "kernel requires latest moduls"??

Really need help on this one .
Thanks in Advance,

1280x800 resolution works by using the latest xorg.conf files rc3 just released.
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/Xorg/
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/SaX2/

also intel has some new drivers i think. http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...*&submit=Go%21

or are they the same I tried earlier. Don't know. Very happy i got my resolution to work though

sax2 and yast both tell me 3d is enabled, but I cannot get gears to go very fast.
Earlier at lower resolution in vesa they were spinning much faster.
