This may be a dumb question. I am running Mandrake 10.1 Official (download) im not trying to start a flame but in windows xp pro there is a section that allows you to tell windows what kind of speakers that you have.. whether they are 5.1 dolby digital.. or 2 speakers with a sub..
i have altec lansing acs 56. has 2 front 2 rear and a subwoofer..
see signature for system specs..
where in mandrake can i tell it what i have to make sure everything is sounding the way it is supposed to be.
i do not have an nvidia control panel or icon.. but mandy says nforce 2 is loaed. i did download drivers from nvidia.com and instlall.
