Spdif In Fedora Core 2


ok baskicly i cant use the spdif port on my abit nforce 7 mobo in feodra core 2
my normal sound works i.e. useing earphones with the 3.5 mm plug.
there is light comeing from the cable but just no sound
it works fine in windows

Im useing the fedora core 2 kernal i cant remember the version number off the top of my head and its a nforce2 chipset
can somebody please help me!

come on i have compiled kernel arfter kernel and still have got no ware PLEASE HELP ME!
