hi, i have suse linux 10.0 and have the creative labs live! 24bit sound card. my sound card was working and everything was great, i moved my computer and up hookin it up, the sound wasn't working. it said the card was configured and everything and the volume was up and speakers were plugged in correctly. sound works fine in windows but not linux. i deleted the card configuration in yast and reconfigured it and also took the card out booted up, turned it off, put the card in and then reconfigured again. i have no idea why it up and decided to stop working. its really frustrating hopefully someone can help..

What program are you using to look at the volume? What does "aumix" tell you? (If aumix is installed, of course.)
