Sound Problem in Acer 7736zg laptop

Hello! I am using the acer aspire 7736ZG and I have a weird problem.
Everytime I connect some external headspeakers (headset?) on my laptop the built in speakers are not muted.

My laptop is a dual boot and this problem does not exist on Windows 7, which probably means that this is not some strange hardware problem.

One more think that might help you find a solution for me is that there speakers are plugged into a black "hole" as there is not green one available.

Actually there are 3 colored "holes" for the jacks to be plugged in.
A blue one (do not have a clue what might be plugged in there).
A pink one which is for microphone
and
a black one which works fine in Windows 7 when i plug in my headset.

So what I should try to check to fix this weird problem?

I would like to thank you in advance for your help and understanding
Best Regards.
A.

P.S I also dump some hardware info that might prove useful to you.

that little iguana icon tell me that you are using opensuse, never had any satisfaction with that distro but i have some experience (i read all of the reviews and they were generally positive, it confused me though) if you have already ran the alsoconf in the terminal (as root i hope, i don't think that you can run that command as a regular user) then try updating the alsa drivers (if it doesn't have synaptic package manager then your going to have to install them from source, i hate doing this, or your going to have to go out and hunt down the updates in an rpm package opensuse version of course) make sure the mixer settings are set right (there is usually 2 sound cards or devices that linux thinks are sound cards that come up when you run the alsaconf command and they are set in the mixer by default sometimes, go into the mixer and change the sound device to the one you would like to use it should work, it takes a little trial and error when doing this, it was easier for me when i played music while configuring everything.
