now i am having issues with loading my radeon 9700 pro.. i downloaded the drivers. installed them.went thru the setup that ati's website said to do for config.. and it blew it out somehow. i had to wipe and reload wouldnt boot into the gui.. had terminal only.. it also messed up when i went thru the config for my msft intellimouse
Well, I installed Mand 10, and my sound won't work either. It's not mute, it's just terrible, hissing, spitting, and the hint of the melodie somewhere in the background. Sounds to me like a sampling rate problem. Using KDE 3.2, I clicked all kinds of green lamps on and off, to no avail!
Any hints??
I ran alsaconf. No problems indicated.
