Arrow Sound not working on FC2


i need help my sound is not working. it does work on windows xp but noe FC2. Its SoundMAX intergated sound card on DELL Dimenson 2400. I need help. thanks.

hi bazooka24, welcome to lq. from the linux machine, open konsole, it's the tv icon w/a sea shell on your desktop. at the prompt type in /sbin/lspci -v. copy and paste the results here.

mine is not a command line, its a graphical user interface. And its hard for me to know what ur talk about? sorry! can u plz explain it a bit more.

what does lsmod look like? have you tried running a mixer and unmuting your sound?

But i have put the volume up high.

lsmod is a command to be issued from the terminal?
