Sound not working after installing FC8

Hi,

I recently installed FC8 however the sound does not seems to play.I am using IBM Think PAD T60p. The sound card is detected during the boot.Here is output from lspci

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

please advice

can you open a shell and try commands

Code:

lsmod | grep "snd-hda-intel"

if none appear can you try command
modprobe snd-hda-intel ....and report all of your results pls

root@dhcp-63-12 ~]# lsmod | grep "snd-hda-intel"
[root@dhcp-63-12 ~]# modprobe snd-hda-intel
[root@dhcp-63-12 ~]# lsmod | grep "snd-hda-intel"
