Sound in multiple programs at once - SoundBlaster SB live usb


Hi I have Sound Blaster SB live usb card. How can I configure sound so that I can hear sound form multiple sound cards at once. Sound from one source is working Ok.

It is usually done with a setting in the software accessing the sound card, and the specifics of what to do depend on which sound system you're using.

I think that Ubuntu uses GNOME as it's desktop manager. If that's the case, try going to Preferences->Hardware->Sound and clicking on the "Sounds" tab. See if checking "Enable software sound mixing" helps.

Note: I've never used Ubuntu, so I'm just guessing.
