sound card problems
 

i have installed redhat 8.0 on my intel 845 glly machine.but i cannot configure my sound.it takes drivers of i810 as default.but i want to confiure sound on my own.what should i do and what command and which driver should i use for my sound card.
please help me

have you looked at http://www.alsa-project.org yet?

/usr/sbin/sndconfig
do this as root

Sound Card Problem
 

I tried running the /usr/bin/soundconfig and got this error:

│ sox: Can't open output file │
│ '/dev/dsp': Device or │
│ resource busy

What do I do next ?
