sound card problem in slackware 10.0
 
hello there, i've installed the slackware and the sound card brokes. is displayed this message

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

i don't have sure but i think my sound card is realtek..
the audio controller is:
Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] Sound Controller (rev a0)

oh, and at the start says

"Starting PCMCIA services"
<probing for PCIC: edit /etc/rc.d/rc.pcmcia>.

finally i heard some sound
 
if anyone have da same problem, i just do:
alsaconf and than alsamixer and set on some options.

i made alsa work on my slackware back when i was running 2.4. and alsa-mini-howto was the key...
