Sound Card! Need Help..

Ok I installed SuSE 8.0 PRO. Everything works.
When I set up my sound card it says I have a
ESS Allegro-1 Audio Drive.
Well When I set it up and check the volume in yast2 It works.. In KDE and GOME it works.. then I logged out and turned off my computer. Well the next time I went into KDE
the sound worked but was very low?
When I go into Yast2 and do the volume thing again in the soundcard setup the sound is back up to normal. But when I re-boot the sound goes down again..
Is there something I need to set to make it where when I boot KDE the sound stays at a good volume level?
Let me know,
Devilyn

Hi!
Try to set your volume Level in the KDE-Controlcenter -> Sound -> Mixer
When exit the KDE check "Restore Session after logging next time"

When it doesn't work, install aumix. It could help you to set the sound volume at startup!
