Sound blaster Live config with onboard sound card
 

Hi:

I've recently purchase a new motherboard, new RAM and new CPU. And I've install all the above with my existing harddrive running Redhat 8.0 to build a new system.

When I booted up the harddrive, the booting process prompt me to a new hardware configuation program, and its ask me if I want to keep my sound blaster live sound card configuration, and I said yes. However, now my system use the onboard sound card instead of the the sound blaster ones, how can I get it to switch back to the sound blaster sound card?

Did you disable the on-board sound card in the bios? If not, do so, then configure your sound card.
