sony usb mass storage


Hello,

Does any body knows how to mount a sony usb memory flash drive on linux?

You can use the hotplug to regonize it for you.

I have a (generic) flash drive and it's working very well. I don't know for Sony's model, but for mine, I only enabled "mass storage device" in the kernel. Linux links my storage to /dev/sda so i can use it as a normal hd.

I plugged it in, booted, and opened an xterm:
modprobe usb-storage
mkdir /mnt/sony
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/sony
cd /mnt/sony
ls

And I saw my files.
