Sony ICD P-320 Audio Recorder

I am trying to figure out how to get my ICD-P320 Audio Recorder working in LinuxMint 13 on my laptop. I have had absolutely zero success thus far. I have the Windows Installation Disks (for Windows 95/98). I don't think that VirtualBox will work for me as I don't have Win95 or 98 installation disks. I have a pretty large hard drive (750 GB) so space won't be an issue. I also have Win7 on the same laptop, but I can't get the software to work in Win7 either (even under Compatibility mode).

Thanks in advance for any help.

About your only chance would be if the software works with WINE.

AFAIK the device uses a proprietary protocol and isn't compatible with a non MS OS and also does not look like it works with Windows 7 either.

Sigh. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work in Win7 or in Wine. Any other ideas?

Basically, it won't work.
