'mplayer /dev/video0 -cache 8092', makes more lag but the framerate is good. That's expected considering that it's caching something.


I know a smooth legless stream is possible because of Cheese. But what is that program doing differently then Mplayer?

Also, MPlayer has not problems playing back an m2t which should be 19 MB/S.
