Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Smart card reader (PCI) with open pgp card

I've got a dell latitude d810 with an integrated PCI smart card reader: Texas Instruments PCI6515. Has anyone managed to get this device (or any other pci smart card) to work with e.g. the open pgp card?

Has far I've seen people have most often used usb based smart card readers.
