Slow Streaming Video in Slackware Current

I have been living with this for a while, and tried many times to find an answer, unsuccessfully.

Video streams - from YouTube or anywhere - are very choppy with Slackware Current and Firefox. Here's what I think I know:
  1. It's not the network; I have Debian on another partition, and it works perfectly there, with the same nVidia module.
  2. It's not Flash, I have the latest driver installed.

Any help is appreciated... Thank you.

My Video Card - GeForce2 MX400 (PCI)
nVidia driver - NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.05-pkg1
Monitor - LG Flatron L196WTQ (19" Widescreen)

The guts of my xorg.conf:

I have the same problem.

I have also the latest flash.
My videocard is a Radeon Mobility 7500.
I think the problem occurred with a package from the changelog from Wed Apr 9 or Fri Apr 11.

ok, seems to be as "flash player" is the problem.
i just installed an older version and everything works fine.
version 9r489 worked for me.

I considered an older Flash, but I ran in to some sites that insisted on the latest version, as well as a Twitter plugin on my blog. I guess everything is give and take. Thanks for responding...
