slackware on USB

Hi,

I has one usb pendrive with 2GB where i install the slackware.

OK, boot the cd, install slackware... all nice... but when i boot from USB with slackware inside:

Code:
VFS: Cannot open root device "sda1" or unknown block (8,1)
Please append or correct "root=" boot option.
What i need to do?

tks all

Well, one thing you could have done better was to post this question in the Slackware forum instead of in the harware forum. This has nothing to do with hardware.
You may have to tweak the Slackware init scripts to have it recognize the partition on your pen drive. Maybe you need to add a "sleep" statement somewhere, so that the USB device gets some extra time to be registered and become visible to the system.
