Slackware 9.1 and Two IDE HardDrives

Hello ,

I have Slackware 9.1 running in my system. It is running on a system with ONLY 1.2 GB HardDisk [IDE] . Now I have found this Quantum Bigfoot 1.2 GB . What I want to happen is that linux will ¨see¨ my two hard disks as one partition . Example :
/ ===> hda and hdb

NOT

/usr/local ===> hdb
/ ===> hda

I think you get the idea guys. Anything ? Thanks !
