Slackware 11 + Linux 2.6.17.13-smp + Benq DVD-ROM = Can't read dvd

Hi, i recently bought a computer and put Slackware 11.0 to it, everything runs fine now except for the Benq DVD reader.
When i insert any DVD into the drive and try to mount it says "mount: not a directory" such thing doesn't happen when i insert a CD.
I tried with Kernel version 2.6.18 and still happens, the weird thing is that in another computer (mother M571) it did work with the same kernel. I can only read DVD if i use Kernel version 2.4.33
The drive works fine in Windows XP SP2
Hardware
Mother: M2NPV-VM
CPU: AM2 Athlon64 X2 3800+
Memory:1 G minus 32 Megs (onboard video)
Video: Onboard GeForce 6150
DVD reader: Benq DVD-Rom 16X (/dev/hda)
Hard Disk : Western Digital 160G SataII (/dev/sda)

Dmesg | grep DVD

My PC does not read with Samsung DVD-RW

I try use my DVD-RW Sansung Writemaster SH-162D, but it does not recognize CD or DVD (burned to me or not).
When I install the system, it work properly. But if the system is installed, does not work!
In the Windows 2000 or 2003 it work well, after instalation of Samsung firmware.
I need help.
