Slackware 10.1 on a sata hardrive
I can't find my hard drive when I: ls /dev do i need to modprobe something?
Like via_sata? |
What do you mean by "can't find my hard drive?"
What do you see, and do you not see that you're expecting to see? |
I am expecting to see /dev/sda
|
I don't really know how to help you, or how you've gotten
to whatever point you're at now. Rather than me (or someone else) asking you a bunch of questions, why don't you give us some history. Since Slackware-10.1 just came out yesterday, you couldn't have done too much... |
at boot u have to choose the sata.i kernel.
i have the nforce2 chipset and it works |
thanks
thanks i'll try that as soon as i get home!
|
please let me know if it works
|
