Slack 10.2, USB Modem, FAILURE T.T

Okay, I've been trying to get my USB ethernet modem wifi antenna dealy working for a while now, and it refuses. I'm using an Addlogix Wireless-G USB Network Adapter to [attempt to] connect my wireless network, which is hosted by a Microsoft MN-500 wireless router/4-port switch. The CD that came with the adapter has Linux sources for rt25USB and RT73 drivers, and the box lists the adapter as RedHat 7.1+ compatible (too bad I'm using slack). I've tried both and I still can't get on my network.

In case it's usefule, dmesg

I poked around Google a bit and was unable to find an updated driver

Have you tried using ndiswrapper and the windows driver? I hate to suggest such a thing on a device that *SHOULD* have native support, but it may be an option.

It also may not hurt to contact the manufacture directly to see if they can offer ANY support, but I didn't see it on what seemed to be their website anymore, and if its RH7.1 days, I wouldn't hold your breath.
