SIS7012 with a 5.1 dolby digital (Surround) connector

Anybody ever managed to use the rear, center and subwoofer outlet of a SIS7012 based soundcard?

Mine is an on-board SIS7012, which works fine with Windows, but with Linux only the front speaker are working.

Anybody seen a driver for using the dolby-function?
I'm using the sis7012-release-2002-4-25 drivers from the sis homepage.
Using the i810_audio module doesn't work at all.

Any ideas?

ALSA might get you fixed up.

Sorry, also tried ALSA.
It's not working.

I've seen posts about turning on "digital out" in ALSA. I have my plain old sound card hooked up to an fm transmitter so I get my sound in an entirely different manner and don't normally deal with these type issues. I really wouldn't know what you need to do to get your card working if ALSA won't do it. There are OSS drivers but that's a wild guess and nothing more.
