SIL3112A Software-Raid weird hdparm -t results
[root@bflsvr log]# hdparm -tT /dev/hde
/dev/hde:
Timing buffer-cache reads: 1628 MB in 2.00 seconds = 814.53 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 168 MB in 3.01 seconds = 55.75 MB/sec
[root@bflsvr log]# hdparm -tT /dev/hdg
/dev/hdg:
Timing buffer-cache reads: 1600 MB in 2.00 seconds = 798.52 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 134 MB in 3.02 seconds = 44.35 MB/sec
*****SAME DRIVES AS YOU CAN SEE********** but yet 55.75 vs 44.35?
makes absolutely no sense to me.
