setup atapi dev rom in fedora core 5


hi all,

i googled for a long time but i came up with nothing at all!
some body pls help me to seting up a Atapi Dvd Rom in Fedora Core 5

plenty thanks to who replies with good answers

What leads you to believe it is not already available???? As a quick check type from the console or xterm session;

/usr/bin/cdrecord -scanbus

Also take a look at the /etc/fstab file and /var/log/messages file for additional clues and information.

/bin/cat /etc/fstab
/bin/cat /var/log/messages | grep CD-ROM

You have to be root or equivalent for the last command above.
