I recently saw this "Portable Dual Drive RAID Enclosure," and it got me thinking that using a RAID1 setup would likely give me a lot better backup than cloning my drive every 4 months, and just using some sync programs to keep my drives synchronized. My question is, apart from plugging this thing in, what do I need to do to get my system to write to both hard drives? What kind of configuration needs to be done? I'm on Fedora Core 9.

That's a form of hardware raid, so your system should be happily oblivious to the fact that it's raid. would just look like a single disk from the users perspective.
