When you give us the url, there's no need to quote it.
The other link blog.danawa et. is amusingly broken. I think I'm getting a chinese error in a latin charset

Do the standard of scsi match? Do the connectors match? Why not?

The specification of Seagate 300GB cheetah 10K.7 is here.

http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.js...D&locale=en-US

I am not expert of Hardware, so I am asking now.

If the standard of scsi match and the connectors match, are ther no problems in using Seagate 300GB cheetah 10K.7 for pc at HP server?

I'm no expert and offering no guarantees but I would think not. Some manufacturers (Dell?)do/did crazy things like store the HD serial number in the BIOS, but it won't self destruct; it might refuse to function

I should check my server's information about "the HD serial number in the BIOS".
