SCSI error

Hello,

I have a (Mu)Linux server .
It runs fine on a 40MHz 386 and 387 with 32MB RAM and 256KB Cache.

I used the Adaptec AHA 1542 SCSI controller and it works great.
The card controles 6 Sony 24speed CDrom drives.
These 6 drives are all used by the HTTP server.

After reading a huge amount of data, the systems starts to report an error.
"WARNING RUNNING LOW ON SCSI DMA BUFFERS"
The system keeps working fine, but is al little bit slower.

Does anyone know what i can do to enlarge these DMA BUFFERS ?

Your dma buffers are generally limited by the amount of memory you have. As it reads in, it fills the memory. I'm not sure how well (if it all) DMA works with swap, so it may be limited by physical memory.
