Scroll Lock key recognition

O.K. Here's the deal. I'm trying to use a KVM switch (JustCom) between a Windows XP machine and a machine running Fedora Core 2. To switch from the Windows machine I depress the <Scroll Lock> key twice and it it switches to the Linux machine. Then I'm stuck. The machine never sees the <Scroll Lock> key. I realize this is probably dead simple but...how do I get the Linux machine to see the <Scroll Lock> key? I've tried several setting dor the keyboard and the advanced features to no avail. The keyboard and mouse are USB.

I have a belkin KVM and the only way I could get the scroll lock working again was to disconnect all the KVM cables from the computers to reset the switch. But then again I got a PS/2 one so, it may or may not work.....
