Well, I just built a new PC with an Asus p8P67 Motherboard XFX Radeon 6850 video card and an intel i2500k cpu.
My problem is when install fedora 14 the screen size is way to large (640x480) I can go thru menus in the graphical install but I cant see all the options. I have tried to change the screen size with the vga= and linux = command but the resolution only changes on the anaconda splash screen then reverts back to 640x480 when the installer comes up.
Installing Fedora on my desktop PC w/ onboard GeForce 9100 I have the same situation - 640x480 default resolution (and the vesa driver). <Alt>-LeftMouseButton usually lets me drag windows as needed. Also, you might be able to run xrander to boost the resolution to 1024x768.
The alt left mouse trick did not work - Fedora is not installed I cant get past the disk partition menu because i cannot see what i am clicking. I did a text based install but do not know how to boot it into graphic mode
