Lightbulb screen problem


I am using Ubuntu9.04. My configuration is:

My problem is: my screen turns pinkish each time I open my monitor.My monitor, my icons, and the browser turns pinkish.Why is it so?

I've attached a file. You can see that the tabs have become pink in color and the google-chrome icon,it has also turned pink. And the address bar has also turned pink. My monitor turns pink,why is it so?

Its really hampering my eye.Help me.

I don't see anything pinkish.

So I guess the problem is your monitor.
Check your cable, this sounds most like a monitor cable issue.

Yep, exactly why I asked for a screenshot -and- a picture taken with a camera.

jone, if the cable is fine, try another monitor.
