Screen Positon with tvout

I have Mandrake 10.1 official and a Nvidia geforce2 video card with tv out. I am using tv out but the screen is not centered. It has a large black area too the left and runs past the edge on the right. I tried xvidtune to move it but it has no affect. I also manually edited the modeline in my xorg.conf and that does not seem to affect it. Any Ideas or software to use to center it?

I have the same problem on Mandriva 2006.0 with a GF4 card.
Have you found any solution yet?

Assuming using nVidia's driver. Read nVidia's documentation on panning the screen to the left or right.

the only panning i could find in nvidias documentation referred to havinge larger desktop space than resolution on the screen
