I just installed F9 (not upgraded). I have a HP 6310 All in one printer which works fine.... When I go to applications/graphics/scanner tool (xane 0.995) an error comes up- no devices available. The printer works but why doesn't the scan work? In F8 both worked great.
Try sane-find-scanner
Did it find your scanner? If not, try that command as root.
Are you in the scanner group? groups will tell you.
On some all-in-one scanners you have to press the SCAN button before it will be recognised.
