Unhappy SB live sound card and RedHat 9

I cannot get my Creative SB live card to work in RH 9. any ideas?

There are a multitude of threads about setting up these cards - a search of the forum will provide most of the information you need.

my create audigy 2 platinum works beautifully, it was autodetected and worked like plug-n-play...better than windows!

have you checked out alsa-project.org??
