Satelite cards drivers for Nova-s Cards

Hi ,
I am trying to connect my nova-s plus card into my RHEL4.4 linux box which has 2.6.9 kernel. My problem is that when i go to scan the card using xawtv it doesn;t recognize the card. The following message is thrown while i perform "xawtv -hwscan"

$xawtv -hwscan
$Driver=/dev/video0 Driver=UNKNOWN/GENERIC
The card has cx 23883-39 chipset and i have enabled v4l-dvb module and cx88xx driver for the card still it is not able to detect.

Can anybody help me please as it is very urgent.
