sata_promise module doesn't load during boot

Hi all,

I'm having problem with sata_promise module. I have White Box with 2.4.21-27.0.1.EL kernel. It found Promse controller nicely (PDC20319).
Module loads nicely after boot (using insmod /lib/modules/2.4.21-27.0.1.EL/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_promise.o

Using rc.local isn't option at this time.

You can add a modprobe command to load sata_promise.o in the file used to issue modprobes at boot. The file name varies from distribution to distribution. Possible names are /etc/modules.conf, /etc/modprobe, /etc/modules.conf.local . . .

What distribution are you using?
