SATA questions

My setup:
ASUS NForce4 mobo
2 x 80GB sata in raid 1
2 x 200GB sata in raid 0

Is there a way i can safely write to my 80GB mirrored array? If so, what must I do? I can read files from it now no problem. It is formatted with NTFS.

Also, what is the best way to resize a Windows NTFS partition without damaging Window$?

I'm thinking about dropping the raid on my 200GB drives and using one for Losedows and one for Linux. Is there any way to do this and keep my current Windows install? You know how gay XP is, if you reinstall too many times they make you buy another damn CD key.

thanks,
eric

You should not try to write to a ntfs partition.
Resize the windows partition with a windows paorgram like partition magic or similar.
In my opinion: use 1 HDD for windows and 1 HDD for Linux.

OK thanks

I think im going to run 1 disk for linux and 1 for Losedows.

Im still trying to figure out if SATA raid mirroring works good in Linux.
