SATA Errors with New Samsung 1TB HD103UJ

I have been having a nightmare trying to get this drive to play nice with linux and now I have successfully fdisked and formatted it.

However I am getting lots of errors when transfering data to the device.

When I formatted the drive i used the -c option to check for bad sectors and everything seemed ok. I can only think there is a bug with the drivers.

Here is the error output
Code:
ata3.00: exception Emask 0x0 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x0 action 0x2
ata3.00: BMDMA stat 0x26
ata3.00: cmd 25/<HEX NUMBER HERE>/e0 tag 0 dma <DECIMAL NUMBER HERE> in
ata3.00: status: { DRDY ERR }
ata3.00: error: { ICRC ABRT }
If someone knows of any documentation for all these error codes I am happy to go through it.

I have done lots of searching on the net but everything seems to point to errors with the word "frozen" which I don't have

Please help!

I found lots of web pages regarding Linux SATA driver problems. I used google.com to search for the string
Code:
linux + sata + error
This page seems to have a lot of information.
http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html
Otherwise search at google.com for the string that I provided.

You might also want to check for the maximum size of the file system type that you are using. 1 TB is pretty big if you made one partition to use the entire disk.
