I have a sandisk image mate sddr-31 flashcard reader that interferes with my cd-rw. It assigns itself to the scsi bus 0,0,0 which is the bus my cd-recorder originally ran on. Now the cd-recorder is on scsi bus 1,0,0 and won't burn out of nautilus or gtoast or x-cd-roast.

I am running RH 9 with the latest Kernel.
Any ideas on configuration? I have to unplug the flash reader to get my cd-burner to work, and then after I reboot ( can't seem to get the cd-recorder to change buses.)

Why can't you change the setup configuration of gtoast or xcdroast to point to the CDwriter? Do your devices always configure the same way at boot?

What happens if you change the USB ports that the devices are plugged into?

I don't use hotplug but I don't think it will work.
