Samsung SyncMaster 3

Hello
I have recently installed Fedora Core 2. I have had this problem with Red Hat before but. I have a SyncMaster 3 monitor. It is in the list of supported monitors but if I select it, it doesn't work. Currently I have it set to Generic 800x600 which is driving me nuts. From what I understand the SyncMaster 3 model CQA4147 can support 1024x768. How can I configure xorg.conf to get it to this resolution or if someone knows where I can find a manual for free, please tell me.
Thank You for reading this

I don't know where to find a manual, but I would try the Samsung website. The manual for my monitor is a pdf file and I have to browse through to fing the "specifications" section, which gives the refresh rate information. Keep in mind that incorrect information can damage the monitor, so try to find tha manual and definitely read the xorg.conf file carefully before editing. I'm just guessing, but 800x600 might be your best screen, since the 1024x768 modeline says "interlace."

I found this with a google search for SyncMaster 3 model CQA4147, at http://www1.vobis.de/bbs/support/brett50/samlinx1.cfg.
