I'm having troubles setting up this local printer. I have a cups server running that has a half dozen printers connected to it. I want to add a local printer to one of the client machines. I have suse 9.1 running btw. When I go into yast to setup the local printer it detects it automatically and I go through the setup. But When I goto test it I get these two error messages:

"An Error occurred while communicating with the CUPS server while saving queue y2test.
cups(File)DoRequest error: client-error-request-value-too-long"

"Unable to print the test page.
Output from lpr:
lpr: unable to print file: client-error-not-found"

Anyone know what these mean or how I can setup this printer? I tried both with the usb and parrallel connections with the same results. Now, I can set the local printer up through lprng, but then I can't connect to the CUPS server to print to the rest of the printers in the department.

edit - oh yea, I already double checked that cups is running
