rt2500 driver - no wlan interface

I am trying to get my new wlan card working.

Here's some info:
Code:

# lspci
- snip -
00:13.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 rev B 802.11g
- snip -
# uname -a
Linux garanka 2.6.16-2-686 #1 Fri Aug 18 19:01:49 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

I have done this:
Code:

# apt-get install module-assistant
# module-assistant prepare
# apt-get install rt2500-source
# module-assistant auto-install rt2500-source

No errors so far..

Here's what I get now:
Code:

# ifconfig -a

I think the rt61 takes a different driver, not the standard rt2500
