Question Routing, linux and windows?

I was just curious... I have DSL, im planning on getting a computer that i will run xp and redhat off of, but my base computer solely runs redhat.

If i try and route it, is there a way i can jsut route the signal without networking the computers...(between redhat and xp)...

I'm so confused, could you say that again very slowly for this old man???

But let me try. The DSL service expects one device in your house. One IP address is assigned by the service provider via DHCP request when your computer boots up. You can order up more IP addresses, for an additional monthly fee. Or, you can have a filter on each wall jack (not at the service entry point) and only have one computer on at a time (that gets real old quick).
Or, you can get a wireless router at BestBuy and let the built-in DHCP function give you additional IP addresses at no cost to you.
