Rotate Screen Display !

Dear All,

I am using nVidia Quodro4 980 XGL Dual Head Graphics Card at 1600 X 1200 Resolution.

Is there a way to rotate the screen display so that I can change the orientation of my HP L2335 from Landscape to Portrait ?

Kind Regards !

Option "Rotate" "CW"
Option "Rotate" "CCW"
Rotate the display clockwise or counterclockwise. This mode is unaccelerated. Default: no rotation.

Note: The Resize and Rotate extension will be disabled if the Rotate option is used.

Hi,

Option "Rotate" "CCW" should be under Section "Screen" or Section "Device", tried both but no change !

My XF86Config-4 file:

Section "Device"

# Update this with the PCI-ID of your card (consult /proc/pci).
# BusID optional when only 1 card present.
## BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
Identifier "NV_Device"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "nvidia"
EndSection

Section "Screen"

### TWINVIEW SETUP ###
### OTHER COMMON OPTIONS ###
# Option "Overlay" "on"
# Option "CIOverlay" "on"
# Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT"
Identifier "Screen NV"
Device "NV_Device"
Monitor "MyMonitor"
DefaultDepth 24
Option "TwinView"
#Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "RightOf"
Option "MetaModes" "1600x1200, 1600x1200"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30.0 - 96.0"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "30.0 - 85.0"
# Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, CRT"
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
EndSection

Thanks

since the rotate mode is unaccelerated, you may need to use the default "nv" driver.
which distro are you running and is this from an xfree86 to xorg upgrade?
