i have something similar to an ipod, or pretty much an mp3 player, and when i had windows, it worked fine, and everything was good, since i installed slackware[due to the inefficiency of Winblows] i cant upload my songs, or anything, and i was wondering how can i get it to work?
its a usb device, so i tried connecting it, and after a few seconds run the fdisk -l command but unlike my usb drive, it didnt work, and well i wanna find a way to work it out
if someone is to find something of help, id really appreciate to let me know

If your machine was recognized as a hard drive, you should be able to mount it as any usb hd:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbmp3
Adjust this to your config.

the thing that worked was the lil pen drive, not the mp3 player, it doesnt even pick it up[the mp3]
