Restoring preferred sound card after reboot

Hello,

My computer has two sound cards: one is on motherboard, and another on ATI video card. Here is Kmix dialog for selecting the sound card:

I want to use the intrinsic card, but after reboot the ATI card (Turks) is always selected. How do I fix it?

Kubuntu 14.04/3.13.0-35

lspci output:
Code:
...
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)
...
04:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Turks/Whistler HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 6000 Series]
...

If you look at the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf (or something like that), you'll see that the last line prevents usb sound from being loaded first. Add a similar new line that prevents the sound device you don't want from being loaded first, and that should work.
