resolution 17 inch monitor in xorg

I have a 17 inch monitor and it's pretty old so I don't have the manual for it. The best resolution I can get with it is 1280x1024 @ 60hz refresh rate.

Right now it's running on 1024x768 @ 60hz and I can't change to a higher refresh rate or change to a higher resolution.
