Removed HD resulted in "Unable to resolve LABEL " error during boot
Hello,
I've recently removed one HD from my FC7 machine and placed it under other PC. That HD was labeled as "/D" . Now I get "fsck. ext3 : unable to resolve 'LABEL=/D', give root password for maintenansce" error during boot. Can anyone help me to overcome this poblem? Thank you! |
Well, first why did you have to remove that drive and which filesystem was on it?
Apparently it still is in your fstab with check-on-boot set to yes. So do enter the root password, remount / r/w (mount -o remount,rw /) and edit /etc/fstab. |
Editing fstab was enough .
Thanks! |
